The Airbus A380 D-AIMI "Berlin" – a piece of the Lufthansa flagship era that you can really own. The Airbus A380 was never just "just an aircraft" at Lufthansa. It was a statement: big, confident, premium – and for many exactly the feeling of long-haul when it becomes clear at the gate: Now it's time to go far out into the world.
This edition is made from original material from the D-AIMI "Berlin" – officially licensed and another milestone in our cooperation with Lufthansa. "Berlin" was more than just a name: the capital on the fuselage, the tradition of city names and that unmistakable moment when you realize that you are about to step into an aviation icon.
The aircraft was christened on 22 May 2012 in Berlin-Tegel – by Klaus Wowereit. And this is exactly the chapter in here: an A380 that stood for new beginnings, comfort and Lufthansa pride in the early 2010s – and which is all the more desirable today because this era is not coming back.
For all those who like to know what story they are holding in their hands: MSN 072, first flight on November 16, 2011, last flight on February 22, 2021 (transfer). What counts is the feeling: You're not holding "just any trailer" in your hand, but a real contemporary witness – made for collectors, frequent flyers, Lufthansa fans and anyone who likes to secure a real piece of aviation
