AviationTag flybe Dash 8 - G-PRPG White
The flybe tribute: Aviationtag from the Dash-8 Q400 G-PRPG
Built in 2008 as MSN 4191, this De Havilland Dash-8 Q400 started its life as N191WQ in US regional traffic, including for United Express. In 2016, it moved to the UK, was registered as G-PRPG and strengthened the flybe fleet – the purple backbone of British regional transport. G-PRPG connected cities such as Belfast, Düsseldorf, Amsterdam and London with high frequency until the first flybe insolvency in March 2020 came to an end. After storage, the teardown in Saarbrücken followed in 2024.
This Aviationtag Edition was created from selected sections of the hull – a tribute to flybe and the people who shaped this era. The surface bears authentic traces of liner service and tells its story without any pathos – in purple and white, just as the cuts specified.
Because each piece is light, robust and pleasantly deburred, it accompanies you effortlessly in everyday life: as a distinctive marking on your backpack, camera case or flight bag, as a recognizable collector's item on your suitcase or simply as a daily companion on your key ring that makes history tangible. The individual serial number makes each copy unmistakable. Upcycled in Germany and limited to the available panels – a compact piece of aviation history, made to be used.
