You do not see many releases nowadays of A340s,least 600/500 versions but it seems Phoenix has finally updated the shade of red metallic paint to a more realistic shade of the real thing! Personally i liked the old shade even so it was incorrect and too pinkish looking but the new shade is a more reflective of the brand TRUE choice as a red - cherry red metallic paint. White paint not bad either though AV400 is probably or Inflight/B-Models at 1:200 scale the nearest in correct shading for their white pearlescent paint shade as its a tricky job ! Looks grey at times as well as white with reflection in it in real life so very hard to get near as on models etc. Phoenix choice is more a flat /dull white look ,no reflective look in it but right shade i guess. NG and Av400 are more metallic in reflection. Overall still a very good model,seems updated too since the past Virgin A340s.Last 600 was the Big Thankyou livery A340 600 a few years back.
