Fifteen Embraer 195 have been in LOT service since 2011. They represent the very popular and largest variant of Embraer’s jokingly named “jungle jet” twinjet. The E195s have long replaced all of the Polish airline’s less efficient “classic” fleet, consisting of Boeing 737s of the -300, -400, and -500 series.
