With a total of more than 3,500 units, the Czech L-29 Delfin is one of the most-manufactured jet trainers worldwide. The prototype took off on its maiden flight in April 1959, deliveries to all countries of the Warsaw Pact (with exception of Poland) starting two years later. In cooperation with Modelyletadel.cz, Herpa is initially releasing the “Dolphin” in the 1/72 scale in three livery variants. Distributed by Herpa worldwide – with exception of the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
